Barista Oat drink healthy?

I understand all the possible benefits, but is it really réálly healthy?

Oats naturally contain anti-nutrients, this ensures that you absorb nutrients less well.
It needs several operations to counteract this. So did Oatly go through all this trouble?

By the way; i sincerely hope so, because i just love the stuff

Hey J.,

Thanks for your question! So happy to hear you love our products, and I am happy to say you can continue to do so!

The absorption of certain minerals such as calcium ultimately depends on various factors like what other foods you've eaten recently, your age, and your vitamin D levels. With that said, oat husks/hulls contain the highest proportion of phytic acid (which is the anti-nutrient you are referring to) in the oat grain. This portion of insoluble fiber is actually removed during our production process, which helps ensure that mineral absorption is not inhibited!

Oat regards,
Sophia
