Dextrose

What is the dextrose in your frozen dessert derived from? Specifically in the strawberry, vanilla, coffee, mint chip flavors? Is it tapioca/cassava derived or corn derived? I’m allergic to tapioca so want to be sure before trying it.

Hi Jennifer! In our US range of frozen desserts we use dextrose derived from either corn or wheat. However, we do use tapioca starch in some flavours instead of corn starch, and those flavors are Raspberry Swirl, Fudge Brownie, Banana Split, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Salted Caramel. We hope that helps give you more insight! Let us know if you have any further questions!

Thanks! Are the flavors that have dextrose derived from wheat listed? My husband is celiac.

Hi Jennifer, sorry for the confusion! It turns out the dextrose from our frozen desserts in Europe is derived from either corn or wheat, but in the US, it is derived from corn. Hope that helps!
