Oatgurt greek style

Big Fan of Oatly . Especially of Greek style oatgurt. It's smooth structure, full, mild taste...really a great product. We use it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's great with fresh fruit, veggies, on bread , crunchly, cooking, baking... perfect. And it's the base-ingrediënt for my 'no bake crunchly/berry cake.No other vegan product is as versitale as this. We use 1 or 2 cups a day.

SO WHY, PLEASE TELL ME WHY, IS IT NO LONGER AVAILABLE!!!!

PS It 's soooooooo much more than a yoghurt, so if you bring it back to the stores, give it a new look and a new name. So people can expect something differant from all those awful taste soy- and cocos stuff.

Hey there, oat pal!

First of all: if there was some sort of award for most ways to use Greek-style Oatgurt, it would definitely go to you! I'm impressed!

I'm aware that's just a small consolation compared to the tragedy of you losing the Oatgurt Greek Style. I totally understand your frustration, friend. Unfortunately - and I get it if this is hard to grasp for a hypothetical-award-winning Greek-style lover like you, the product just wasn't popular enough. Both us and the supermarkets decided that other products might fit the needs of the general consumer better, so we took it out of the Dutch assortment. Bummer, I know.

Now, I'm totally passing on your request to bring back the product, so please know it's on our wish list. If we ever decide to bring it back to the Netherlands, you'll be the first to know. Pinky promise!

Hugs,

If a product doesn't sell, you can do two things. You can choose the 'easy' way and take away the product. Or you can go for the 'creative' way and ask yourself why it didn't work.

Oatly Oatgurt Greek style is double the price of other vegan Yogurts Greek style. Oatly 's taste and structure is great, the others have a terrible taste and absolutely no structure (I know, I have been trying out dozens in the past weeks. They all are watery and taste either to 'beany', very sour or to much like coconut.) So you can promote Oatgurt Greek style by temporary reducing the price, and give all those who go for the cheap choise a change to try the better product.

You call this product 'Greek style Yogurt', so people who are interested in a vegan Greek style yogurt buy the product. (Not too many people I guess.) But this product is so much more, it is usefull in many more ways... so many more people could buy it, if they knew what they could do with it. It can be used as greek yogurt, but also as a soft cheese (salt or sweet), for cheesecake, as a basic ingredient for ice cream (try it with 2 bananas, 200 gr ripe strawberries, a spoon of maple syrop in an icecreammaker...) and many more ways. So change the name, explain how to use it, give some 'how to use' suggestions and recipes....

So please, put in some of your magic 'oatly' creativity and as Michelle O would say 'Do something'. Don't let a wonderful and versatile product like this get lost.

Maybe I could 'Do something' and start making an oatgurt cookboek or blog? Oh no!!!  I can't, no more Oatgurt Greek style ....

Hi again,

I totally hear you and understand this all must be very annoying. However, we always make well-considered decisions before taking a product out of assortment, as we are very aware of how this will impact consumers and fans like you. Sometimes a rebranding, a price reduction and communicating how to use a product just isn't enough, as we'll have to take the wider company and also the retailers who sell the product into consideration.

But thanks for your suggestions, and again: we hear you and we put the product on our wish list to bring back to the Netherlands. You can trust we're doing everything in our power!

Best,

Ilja
