Shelf life of refrigerated Oatly barista oat milk after opening

Once the carton is open, how long is it expected to last in the fridge? I had some in my fridge and it got a little gnarly long before the expiry date on the packaging.

Hi Bill! 

 

Our oat drink usually stays fresh in the fridge for at least 5 days after opening (the best before date on the package indicates the shelf life before you open it). Hope this helps and please let us know if you suspect there was something off with your Barista!

You should write on your carton that it should be consumed within five days. There is no indication of that on the carton.

Where are you based?

 

Usually a use-by date/days or that it will last for at least 5 days is indicated on the package. A general hint though is that as long as your oat drink was stored chilled once opened it's good to use as long as the smell and taste is OK!
