This is a great question and it's an area that's a huge focus for us. When you make as much oat drink as we do, you're left with A LOT of oat residue and we want to make sure we're repurposing as much as we can in the most sustainable way possible. In 2021, we hit a huge milestone by repurposing all 79,226 tonnes (100%) of our oat residues either as animal feed or by converting it into energy. If you'd like to do a bit of reading up on Oatly and residues you can do so on our latest sustainability report (scroll down a little and you'll find the info you're looking for) and we also have a great article here on our community site. Happy to answer any questions you might have after reading!
